Sport, movement and fun at the ASML Zomerspelen Sports festival

On Wednesday, August 13, the ASML Zomerspelen Sports festival brought an unforgettable day full of sport, movement, and fun. Children from Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, and Geldrop-Mierlo came together at FC Eindhoven’s Jan Louwers Stadium and the fields of HC Oranje-Rood for a day packed with clinics, sporting challenges, and entertainment.

A day full of action

Children aged 6 to 13 enjoyed a wide range of sporting activities during the Sports festival. From exciting obstacle courses to BMX ramps, from hockey to judo – there was something for everyone. On top of that, JOB (DutchTuber) gave an energetic performance, full of music and interaction with the kids. In addition, one of the highlights of the day was the clinics led by four top athletes from Team BrabantSport. Kimberly Alkemade (para-athletics), Ephrahim Jerry (handball), Bob de Voogd (hockey), and Indy Kramer (BMX) shared their knowledge and enthusiasm, inspiring the young participants to enjoy sports and try new things.
