The ASML Zomerspelen
Sports Festival

On Wednesday, 19 August 2026, we will celebrate the end of the ASML Zomerspelen with a Sports Festival at the Jan Louwers Stadium, home of FC Eindhoven!

After a summer full of sports clinics, children from Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, Geldrop-Mierlo and Valkenswaard will come together one last time for a day filled with sports, fun and exciting activities. The Sports Festival is the festive grand finale of the ASML Zomerspelen and promises to be a day to remember!

What can you expect?

The Sports Festival is all about being active, discovering new sports and having fun. After a joint opening ceremony on the pitch, hosted by Edwin Smolders, mascot Willy Wasbord and several Team BrabantSport elite athletes, the children will head off in groups to enjoy a varied programme.

Each group will take part in:

Four sports clinics
One fun activity, such as an obstacle course or a bouncy castle

At lunchtime, all participants will enjoy a free lunch in the stadium stands. Afterwards, influencers and YouTubers Maxime & Sophie will put on a live performance before the afternoon programme begins.

Clinics with Brabant's pro athletes

During the Sports Festival, children will get the chance to try different sports under the guidance of top athletes from Brabant:

Para athletics with Pierluigi Bomberg
Gymnastics with Tisha Volleman
Judo with Sanne van Dijke
Baseball with Rick van den Hurk
Handball with Ephrahim Jerry

There will be plenty of other fun clinics throughout the day on the main pitch of FC Eindhoven and the fields of HC Oranje-Rood. All of which are guided by local sports providers!

09:45 – 10:00 – Participants gather on the pitch
10:00 – 10:10 – Official opening ceremony
10:10 – 10:20 – Warm-up together
10:30 – 12:00 – Sports Festival | Part 1
12:00 – 1:00 – Free lunch & performance by Maxime & Sophie
1:00 – 2:30 – Sports Festival | Part 2 & closing ceremony
