Sport connects children and clubs during the ASML Zomerspelen!

The ASML Zomerspelen are about more than just sports clinics. It is the perfect opportunity for children from the Brainport region to discover new sports, have fun and get to know the clubs behind these activities.

With 62 sports providers taking part, children can explore a wide range of sports this summer. From well-known sports to activities they may have never tried before: there is something new for everyone to discover.

One of the clubs taking part is korfball club Rust Roest from Eindhoven. During the clinics, the club introduces children to korfball and shows that a sports club is about much more than just playing a sport.

“People may come here for the sport, but they stay for the fun, the friendships and the connections they make.” – Kees Slot, korfball club Rust Roest

According to Kees, discovering different sports is an important part of the experience: “Not every sport suits every child. That is why it is valuable that children can choose from a wide range of sports and discover which one truly fits them.”

And that is exactly what the ASML Zomerspelen are all about: getting children active, creating new experiences and showing them how much fun sports can be.
