Five weeks full of sports and fun during the ASML Zomerspelen

What an amazing few weeks we have had! Over the past five weeks, the ASML Zomerspelen were all about sports, fun and new experiences. Hundreds of children from Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, Geldrop-Mierlo and Valkenswaard discovered new sports, made new friends and created unforgettable memories together.

From familiar sports to surprising discoveries

During the clinics, children were able to try a wide variety of sports. From football, hockey and tennis to sports they may have never tried before. Every clinic offered a new challenge and the opportunity to discover which sport truly suits them.

With guidance from enthusiastic sports providers, children learned new skills, tried different activities and experienced how much fun being active can be.

Sports providers bringing children into motion

Behind all the clinics were the many sports clubs and providers who enthusiastically shared their passion for sports. They gave children a glimpse into their sport and made sure everyone could participate at their own level.

Whether it was a first introduction to a sport or the discovery of a new passion: every clinic was about having fun, being active and experiencing sports together.

A summer full of great moments

From enthusiastic first attempts to proud smiles after learning a new skill: the past five weeks were filled with special moments. Children had the opportunity to step outside their comfort zone, try something new and, above all, have fun.

Looking ahead to the Sports Festival!

But we’re not finished yet… The ASML Zomerspelen will come to a festive close with the big Sports Festival on Wednesday, 19 August at the Jan Louwers Stadium of FC Eindhoven. All participants will come together one more time for a day full of sports, fun, surprises and special moments.
