What are the ASML Summer Games?
The ASML Summer Games are a cheerful and active summer program for all children aged 6 to 13 from the municipalities of Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, and Geldrop-Mierlo. For five weeks, sports take center stage — with the aim of getting children moving in an accessible and fun way during the summer holidays.
The program consists of free sports clinics, provided by local sports providers. Children can try out all kinds of different sports: from football to freerunning, from dance to judo, from basketball to bootcamp. This way, they discover what they enjoy, what suits them, and where their talents lie.
During the first two weeks, the activities take place in the neighborhood wherever possible — for example, on a Cruyff Court, a school playground, or a local field. This way, we literally bring sport to the children. In the following three weeks, the clinics are organized at the sports providers’ own locations.
In addition to the clinics, there are also surprises, challenges, and encounters with local sports heroes. Videos and social media updates are shared, often in collaboration with the ASML Summer Games Kids Club — an enthusiastic group of children who help shape the program and create fun content.
The Summer Games conclude with the ASML Summer Games Sports Festival: a grand and festive final event where children come together one last time. They take part in sporting activities, watch spectacular demos, meet each other, and celebrate a summer full of movement, fun, and new experiences.
The ASML Summer Games are made possible by ASML, the BrabantSport Fund, and local partners, and are completely free of charge for all participants. Because every child deserves an active, healthy, and joyful summer.
