What are the ASML Summer Games?
The ASML Summer Games is a fun and active, and summer program for all children aged 6 to 13 from the municipalities of Eindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, and Geldrop-Mierlo. For five weeks, sport takes center stage — with the goal of getting children moving in a fun and accessible way during the summer holidays.
The program consists of free sports clinics led by local sports providers. Children can try out a wide variety of sports: from football to freerunning, from dance to judo, from basketball to bootcamp. This way, they get to discover what they enjoy, what suits them best, and where their talents lie.
In the first two weeks, activities take place in the neighborhoods — for example, on a Cruyff Court, a school playground, or a local field. This brings sport directly to the children. During the following three weeks, clinics are held at the sports providers’ own locations, giving children the exciting experience of visiting a real sports club or association.
Alongside the clinics, there’s room for surprises, challenges, and encounters with local sports heroes. Videos and social media updates are shared throughout the program, often created together with the ASML Summer Games Kids Club — a group of enthusiastic children who help shape the program and create fun content.
The Summer Games conclude with the ASML Summer Games Sport Festival: a festive final event where all participating children come together once more. They take part in exciting activities, watch spectacular demonstrations, meet new friends, and celebrate a summer full of movement, fun, and new experiences.
The ASML Summer Games are made possible by ASML, the BrabantSport Fund, and various local partners — and participation is completely free for all children. Because every child deserves an active, healthy, and fun summer.
